NC State prevails at Fall Brawl 2

In the 2nd annual Fall Brawl club team tennis tournament hosted by UNC-Charlotte, the NC State Wolfpack captured the championship with their 29-19 victory over the Georgia Bulldogs. The final match began with the teams splitting the singles sets both by a score of 6-5, followed by Wolfpack domination in both men's and women's doubles, and ended with a 6-5 mixed doubles victory for the eventual champions. On their way to the final, NC State defeated Methodist and UNC-Charlotte in pool play, and surpassed North Carolina in the Gold Semifinal round. Congratulations Wolfpack !!!!


North Carolina took 3rd place and Colorado took 4th overall. Clemson vaulted into 5th place after defeating Duke during pool play. The Silver playoff round was won by Duke, the Bronze round by Elon, and the Nickel round by South Carolina. The tournament featured 19 teams from 18 unique schools including two teams ranked in the top 10 in the country, Colorado and Georgia. The event was once again blessed with fantastic weather and a wealth of supporters and spectators. The tournament organizers would like to thank Babolat for sponsoring the event.
