Summary: One week after Texas A&M beat Texas 23-21 in a dual match, both teams met in the Texas Campus Championship Final. Both teams met their respective #2 teams in the semi-final, and advanced without dropping a set. It was a close match, but again A&M pulled it out in the end 25-22. Also appearing in the Gold DIvision were Texas Tech and SMU. Upstart UTSA won the Silver Division 27-11 over UT Hook'em. Texas, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech each brought 4 teams to the tournament. Overall, 26 teams participated from 15 colleges. Both Texas and Texas A&M will be looking forward to playing in the National Campus Championships next month in Cary, NC. A&M is the three-time defending National Champion and current CollegeClubTennis.Com #1.
